DETAILED INFORMATION

A stainless steel 304/316 hose clamp is a piece of equipment that holds together stainless steel pipes. In the plumbing industry, it is a critical piece of equipment. Hose clamps are used to connect plumbing pipes, but they can also be an integral part of the piping system itself. Besides holding pipes together, hose clamps also prevent leaks when they are most needed. Having a clamp may seem like a time-consuming process, but it actually does not require much effort on your part.

Hose clamps mainly come in two forms; one is a simple clamp and the other is adjustable.

Simple hose clamps make connecting hoses quick and easy. Hose clamps of this type are also known as snap-on clamps. The snap-on type of hose clamp can be used on a variety of hoses, but it is most commonly found on gas hoses and straight hoses. Snap-on type hose clamps are easy to use and reliable. Snap-on hose clamps are advantageous because they do not cause extra wear and tear on hoses. Additionally, snap-on hose clamps are relatively inexpensive. It takes some time to get used to using these hose clamps, but it is a useful trick that many people find useful.

Hose clamps are used to clamp hose ends and middles. Hose clamps of this type are generally used to connect hoses of different sizes or types. Double clamps or double-clamps are also known as hose clamps since they are used on both ends of hoses. When connecting a high pressure hose to a low pressure hose, they are particularly useful.

With slots in the clamps, the adjustable hose clamps can be adjusted to fit various hose sizes. The clamp of adjustable hose clamps is actually spring-loaded, so it can be easily adjusted anywhere from 0.2mm to 1mm from its original position. A fixed hose clamp, on the other hand, does not have an adjustment mechanism.

The lower the setting on the clamp, the higher the pressure inside. In addition to connecting hoses of different sizes together, adjustable hose clamps can be used to connect hoses with different shapes, as they come with slots that allow them some extra flexibility. Any type of fitting can be used with them.

To hold stainless steel pipes together, hose clamps made of stainless steel 304/316 are used. It is a critical piece of equipment in the plumbing industry. In addition to connecting plumbing pipes, hose clamps can also be integral parts of piping systems. Hose clamps hold pipes together as well as prevent leaks when they are needed most. Though having a clamp may seem time-consuming, it doesn’t take much of your time. With this type of clamp, all you have to do is make sure the pipe is connected to the hose, and the clamp will do the rest.

This clamp requires a hoseshield with cup-shaped ends on both sides that fits snugly over the pipes. Just a little pressure will hold everything in place. Hose clamps are commonly used to connect plumbing pipes, but they can also be an integral part of the piping system. As well as holding pipes together, hose clamps also prevent leaks. Even though clamping may seem time-consuming, it actually accomplishes very little.

Using the included tool or your fingers, you can easily replace hose clamps. Clamps are commonly used to hold pipes together when not in use. It is possible to remove them from pipes when necessary. Depending on the application, size, and function, clamps come in many styles and sizes.

Types of Stainless Steel 304/316 Hose Clamps

  • Original Range (Worm Drive Clips)

The Original Jubilee Clip, the product that started it all! This sturdy worm drive hose clip is more than suitable for most applications. Available as a mild steel zinc protected or stainless steel clamp in both 304 (18/8) and 316 (18/10) grades of stainless steel; this product also has a band that is continuously threaded enabling extra flexibility when adjusting the clip to the correct size. The smooth inside profile of the band and rolled edges give protection for all types of hoses including soft hoses made from rubber or silicone.

  • All our original Jubilee Clips

Are independently tested by the British Standards Institute (BSi) and carry the British Standard Kitemark™, which is universally regarded as the most stringent standard there is for a hose clip. Both grades of stainless steel clips are also accredited by Lloyd’s Register for marine use.

  • Jubilee High Torque (Heavy Duty Clip)

This stainless sleel clip has twice the tightening torque the original British Standard worm drive hose clips which creates more than twice the band tension for stubborn leakage or vibration applications. They have a two-part housing and cut through band, keeping the band straight at the point of engagement and fully engaging all of the screw thread; giving a superior tightening torque.

  • Jubilee Juniors (Mini Clips)

These mini clips, also known as nut & bolt clips, are ideal for small bore hoses with relatively low pressures, where little clamping force is required. Used in low pressure applications such as a fuel line. Adjusted by a single bolt.

  • Jubilee Superclamps (Heavy Duty Clips)

A Heavy duty clamp, offering the highest tightening torques with 8.8 high tensile bolts allowing an impressive maximum recommended torque of 25Nm. Naturally with the smaller clamps using a smaller bolt the torques are lower, but even so, the torques are impressive by comparison to alternative clip types for the same size range. Suitable for a wide range of applications, including marine and offshore oil and gas installations.

  • Jubilee Multiband (Self Assembly Clips)

A self-assembly, endless banding, or screw band system, which allows the user to cut the band to the desired length. Used in areas such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), sign fixing, conduit and cable retention and lagging, this product is very versatile. A number of screw and housing designs are available to suit any application
